Tourism Services Tax (TST)

Please be advised that from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027, the Fijian Government has introduced a 5% Tourism Services Tax (TST) on tourism services in Fiji.

The TST will apply to all relevant services provided from 1 September 2026, including existing reservations made prior to this date.

As required by the Tourism Services Tax Act 2026, the 5% TST will apply to charges during your stay, including accommodation, food and beverage, spa services and other resort services, and will be shown separately on your invoice or receipt.

This is a Government-mandated tax and is separate from Fiji’s Value Added Tax (VAT).

Waitui Beach Club Pool Closure & Upgrade Project

CLOSED 11th January – 24th February 2027

We are excited to share that our Waitui Beach Club pool at Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa will be undergoing an upgrade to further elevate your experience. From 11th January to 24th February 2027, we will be retiling and resurfacing the Waitui pool and surrounding beach club area. During this time, Waitui Beach Club will be closed.
