Pool Upgrade Project

2nd – 18th February 2026

We are excited to share that our main lagoon pool at Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa will be undergoing an upgrade to further elevate your experience. From 2 – 18 February 2026, we will be retiling and resurfacing the lagoon pool. During this time, the main lagoon pool, including the waterslide pool area, will be closed.

To ensure your stay remains enjoyable, the following facilities and activities will be available:

• Waitui Beach Club* pool and club area will be open to all guests, including children, throughout this period.

• Enjoy poolside cabanas, beachfront cabanas, a swim-up bar, sunken lounge area and more at Waitui Beach Club.

• A variety of fun poolside activities will continue for guests of all ages.

• The splash and play pad at Niu Beach Club for Kids will remain fully operational.

*Waitui Beach Club is usually our exclusive adults only beachfront located on the western side of the resort. Please see our resort map here. Photos of Waitui Beach Club pool area can be found in the gallery below.
